Project Evaluation and Decision Management is a three to five-day custom workshop with length dependent on client needs. From Economics through decision methods and project management-based evaluation, this workshop provides participants with the background, methods, tools, and leadership principles needed to immediately apply the gained skills and approaches to their daily work. While foundation content is delivered in an example-filled and interactive manner, the workshop never strays far from the ultimate objective, the practical application of concepts and method to assess, create, and improve value of projects. From the testing and value of new technology, to optimal pilots, to the identification and mitigation of project management threats, this workshop delivers a comprehensive approach to project evaluation and management.
The workshop is geared to a multi-disciplinary audience and will deliver learning and skills improvement to all experience levels. Targeting to a particular experience level is possible. Modification of the course to achieve specific learning objectives is also possible.
The workshop will include the use and distribution of PC based tools for resource assessment (conventional or unconventional), production profile assessment and forecast, Value of Information and Critical Path Assessment. Participants retain the tools post-workshop. It is recommended that a non-disclosure agreement be in force for the workshop as that will allow participants to ask and discuss current applications
The Practical Evaluation and Decision management workshop is appropriate for Engineers, Project Managers, Earth Scientists, and Managers.
